Jeep has redesigned the all-electric concept version of the electric version of the Wrangler, dubbed the Wrangler Magneto 2.0. This model was born a year after the appearance of the first version of the Stellantis electric SUV. Toyota Motor’s Woven Planet unit is following Tesla Inc in its efforts to advance autonomous technology without expensive sensors such as lidar. Rivian is optimistic to reach the production target of 25 thousand electric vehicles this year. In its report, Rivian made 2,553 vehicles and delivered 1,227 electric vehicles in the first quarter. Last year it was 1,015 vehicles and delivered 920 electric vehicles after starting deliveries of the R1T pickup truck towards the end of the third quarter. General Motors has begun converting their production facility in Ramos Arizpe, Mexico, for the production of electric vehicles. During the conversion process, production of the Chevrolet Blazer and Equinox combustion models produced there will be discontinued until mid-May.
