Tata Motors signs agreement for the acquisition of Ford India’s plant to build EVs in the future
Tata Motors through its subsidiary Passenger Electric Mobility Limited (TPEML) has signed a contract with Ford India to acquire Ford’s Sanand plant in the Indian state of Gujarat to be used for the production of electric vehicles. The acquisition of Ford ole Tata plant is still subject to approval from the relevant authorities. Xpeng announced a partnership with Alibaba to open a state-of-the-art computing center in northern China. The computing center is projected to develop autonomous vehicle software.
