Hyundai has just revealed a design concept sketch of the highly anticipated IONIQ 6, the second model of Hyundai’s all-electric IONIQ vehicle after the IONIQ 5. The Wacker Neuson Group and John Deere Construction & Forestry Company, a subsidiary of Deere & Company, USA, a global leader in the delivery of agricultural, construction and forestry equipment, have reached an agreement for mini and compact excavators. This includes a long-term, exclusive OEM supply contract for mini and compact excavators weighing less than five tonnes and also includes battery-electric excavators. The classic car-to-electric restoration company, Lunaz, did a great job of restoration by converting the 1952 Jaguar XK120 into an electric car, which was originally a 3.4-liter XK engine into a Lunaz modular EV powertrain, so this car has zero emissions. Wrightbus has just received a substantial order from Ireland’s National Transport Authority (NTA) to supply 800 electric double-decker buses over a five year period. Under an agreement between NTA and Wrightbus, 120 StreetDeck Electroliners have been firmly ordered. The NTA says that 100 of these buses will be used in Dublin and 20 in Limerick. The electric double-decker buses are scheduled to start operating in 2023. According to the State Administration for Market Regulation, Porsche China will recall 6,172 imported Taycan pure electric vehicles from 2020 to 2021. Italian luxury sports car manufacturer, Ferrari, recently outlined an electrification strategy with 40% full-electric vehicles and 40% hybrid models by 2030. Benedetto Vigna, CEO of Ferrari, confirmed that the manufacturer’s first electric car with the Prancing Horse logo will be launched in 2025, with the first deliveries to be made in 2025.
