Audi is preparing to introduce its much-anticipated e-tron GT to the Chinese market. The all-electric Gran Turismo, sharing its platform with the Porsche Taycan, is poised to make a splash with prices starting at 999,800 yuan (approximately $140,000).
Chinese car enthusiasts had already enjoyed the RS variant of the Audi e-tron GT since late 2022, priced from 1,468,800 yuan (around 186,500 euros). The e-tron GT boasts two electric drives, generating a robust system output of 350 kW and a peak torque of 630 Nm. Equipped with a 93 kWh battery, the Audi offers an impressive WLTP range of 488 kilometers.
Similar to its global counterpart, the e-tron GT for China boasts the familiar 800-volt technology, shared with the Taycan, enabling rapid charging from five to 80 per cent in just 22.5 minutes at compatible charging stations. Notably, the article from the Chinese portal CNEVPost does not mention any other specific changes for the Chinese market, apart from the adaptation of the charging connection to the local GB/T standard from the European CCS2.

Audi’s commitment to the Chinese electric vehicle market has been reaffirmed through an expanded partnership with China’s SAIC.
