Xpeng has just announced the presence of a new generation of superchargers for electric vehicles. According to Xpeng Motors CEO He Xiaopeng, electric vehicle users usually focus on the efficiency and convenience of charging their vehicles.

For this reason, Xpeng has launched a new generation of supercharger for electric vehicles which is claimed to make charging times four times faster than the previous generation.

Quoted from Gizmochina, Thursday (16/6/2022), the latest generation supercharger from Xpeng can charge electric vehicles from 10 percent to 80 percent in just 12 minutes.

With the advent of new energy vehicles becoming more and more popular, improvements in equipping technology will help drive the company’s sales figures even higher.

Current electric vehicle standards will keep owners charging for a few hours or even under an hour depending on charging rates. But it’s still a little longer than refilling gas at a gas station. So, this next-generation supercharger can help electric vehicles better strengthen their position in the automotive industry.

Earlier this year, He Xiaopeng announced the XPG supercharger station is the widest among other Chinese electric vehicle brands with a total of 169 self-operated stations in China, and a total of 954 charging networks available across the country.

So, this improvement in electric vehicle charging technology must be immediately reflected by the presence of these charging stations.
