Audi of America has announced pricing and technical specifications for the fully electric A6 and S6 Sportback e-tron models, which are set to arrive at U.S. dealerships this summer. The automaker describes the new additions as its most aerodynamic and longest-range battery-electric vehicles (BEVs) to date.
The rear-wheel-drive A6 Sportback e-tron, equipped with the ‘ultra’ package, is expected to achieve an EPA-estimated range of 392 miles. It features a 100 kWh battery capable of charging from 10% to 80% in just 21 minutes, thanks to its 800-volt platform and 270 kW charging capacity.

Prices for the A6 e-tron start at $65,900 for the ‘Premium’ trim, while ‘Premium Plus’ and ‘Prestige’ editions cost $69,800 and $72,200, respectively. An all-wheel-drive (AWD) variant is available for an additional $2,000 across all trims. The AWD model accelerates from zero to 60 mph in 4.3 seconds, has a top speed of 130 mph, and offers an EPA-estimated range of 377 miles with the ultra package.
The performance-focused S6 Sportback e-tron, featuring a single-speed AWD system, starts at $78,700 for the ‘Premium’ trim, with prices rising to $82,200 and $84,600 for higher-end versions. The S6 model delivers an EPA-estimated range of up to 324 miles when equipped with 20-inch wheels, a 0-60 mph time of 3.7 seconds, and a top speed of 149 mph. All models include a $1,295 destination and delivery fee.

The launch of the A6 and S6 Sportback e-tron follows Audi’s introduction of two additional A6 e-tron variants last year, including an entry-level rear-wheel-drive model with a smaller battery and a more affordable AWD option. With the company facing production cuts in Brussels and plans to reduce its workforce in Germany by 7,500 jobs, the success of these new electric models will be crucial to Audi’s long-term strategy.
