The Audi e-Tron GT Quattro reportedly won the World Performance Car award at the 2022 World Car Award. In addition, this electric car was also nominated for World Electric Vehicle of the Year and World Car Design of the Year.

The selection of the Audi e-Tron GT as the best performance car this year has been tested by more than 100 automotive journalists around the world.

The World Performance Car award at the 2022 World Car Award is in fact not the first for the Audi e-Tron Quattro. The electric vehicle has also been named the World’s Most Beautiful Car of the Year at the 2021 Goldenes Lenkrad event in Germany.

As additional information, this electric car offers a very slim aerodynamic appearance with 20-inch rims and presents a drag coefficient of 0.24. This in fact becomes the main attraction in the sporty class, plus a prominent grille.

The electric car is equipped with a 93 kWh battery using 800 volt technology. Audi even claims that this feature not only makes the e-Tron GT performance-oriented, but that the electric car can also be charged quickly.

The power of the Audi e-Tron GT Quattro itself is known to reach 470 hp and peak torque of 630 Nm with an additional 10 Nm in overboost mode. This electric car only takes 4.1 seconds to accelerate from zero to 100 km / h.
