Audi recently teased its upcoming fourth installment of the Sphere electric concept car series, the Activesphere, which is set to blend “exceptional elegance with impressive performance and immersive, pioneering functionality.”

Based on the single photo released, it appears to be a 4-door GT with a cab moved forward, featuring a shorter hood and windscreen that starts just above the front axle.

This design choice offers extra inches in the passenger cabin, and its overall shape bears resemblance to the Porsche Panamera. This is likely because the Audi e-tron, Porsche Panamera, and Porsche Taycan will have many similarities.

The Activesphere is geared towards off-roading, with a high suspension and large, all-terrain wheels. It will also showcase Audi’s latest autonomous driving technology with a focus on off-road driving. The Activesphere will be unveiled on January 26th and is marketed towards outdoors enthusiasts, offering off-road capabilities, ample space for gear, performance, and sleek design.

It will join previous Sphere concepts including the Urbansphere, Grandshpere, and Skysphere.
