The “Follow the Entrepreneur” (FTE) event, held in St. Moritz, Switzerland, is an important venue for startup businesses seeking funding. The website for the event claims that more than half of the entrepreneurs who presented at the event secured funding from wealthy private investors, with an average net worth of €50 million ($53 million).
Aptera, which is looking for production funding, has previously received a multi-million dollar grant from the State of California and opened a site for reservation holders to invest in the company. Aptera CEO Chris Anthony has stated that the company requires at least $50 million to commence production, but it is unknown whether the company obtained the necessary funding at the FTE event.
