Aptera Motors’ extends Accelerator Program, Offers Early Access to Solar EV Launch Editions

Aptera Motors recently announced an extension to its Accelerator investment program, which offers a unique opportunity for investors to secure one of the first 2,000 units of Aptera’s Launch Edition solar EVs, while supporting the company’s vision for a sustainable future.

The Accelerator program was launched in late January, just one week after the startup unveiled the Launch Edition version of its solar EV. The program has already raised over $8 million from reservation holders seeking to secure their spot in line for one of the first 2,000 units. However, with only 561 spots secured so far, there are still over 1,400 opportunities for investors to get involved.

UPDATE: The Accelerator Program has been extended. It now ends once the 2,000th priority vehicle slot is filled. Act now to join and secure an exclusive Aptera vehicle with priority delivery. → https://t.co/r0DQbjZLpR pic.twitter.com/v9GuX0CvLJ

To participate in the program, investors must make a minimum $10,000 investment, which will give them prioritized delivery of their solar EV and access to commemorative and serialized markings on the driver’s side B-pillar and rear hatch. Each unit will also come with a numbered book signed by Aptera co-founders Chris Anthony and Steve Fambro.

The Accelerator program is a way for Aptera to secure the funding it needs to bring its second attempt at SEV production to fruition. The company has already been awarded a $21 million grant from the California Energy Commission, but requires between $20-$50 million to begin production. Funds from the Accelerator program will be used to purchase production equipment, which will then be paid back by the awarded grant.

Participation in the Accelerator program not only offers investors the opportunity to invest in the future of sustainable transportation but also to be a part of a community of like-minded individuals who are committed to creating a better world. The program includes a leaderboard and consistent updates, and the more investors donate, the earlier they will receive one of the initial 2,000 Aptera builds planned.

Aptera’s Launch Edition solar EVs are a game-changer in the world of sustainable transportation. The vehicles are designed with advanced aerodynamics and lightweight materials, making them incredibly efficient. They also feature a solar panel array on the roof and hood, which can provide up to 45 miles of range per day. This means that, on average, drivers could go up to 11,000 miles per year on sunlight alone.

The Launch Edition solar EVs are just the beginning for Aptera Motors. The company plans to produce a full range of solar EVs that will appeal to a wide range of drivers. With a focus on efficiency, sustainability, and innovation, Aptera Motors is positioning itself as a leader in the electric vehicle market.
