Charging specialist, Allego, has announced a new contract with Swedish real estate company, Trophi. As part of the partnership, Allego will construct publicly accessible fast-charging infrastructure at seven locations, including supermarkets and urban grocery stores.
The charging infrastructure will comprise four to eight High Power Charging (HPC) connections depending on the size of the site, with some locations also featuring an additional four to eight AC charging points. Allego’s latest priority for new sites is the Alpitronic Hypercharger HYC300, which means that two to four of these charging points will likely be present at each site, each with two charging points. A press photo published with the announcement shows that Hyperchargers, as well as two 50 kW charging stations from Tritium, will be used.

Four of the seven locations will be situated near major roads, while the remaining three are in the downtown area. Six of the sites will feature canopies and drive-through charging points, with the charging points located adjacent to the parking spaces, similar to petrol stations. However, at one location, this was not possible due to structural constraints.
Trophi, which owns 275 retail properties in Sweden and Finland, will lease parts of the land to Allego, who will install and operate the charging equipment. The two companies have agreed to a standardised approach to simplify the process and make construction more efficient.
