ADS-TEC Energy has established a dedicated Austrian subsidiary to bolster its operations in the DACH region and meet growing demand for advanced battery storage and fast-charging solutions.

The new entity, ads-tec Energy Austria GmbH, was formed in April 2025 and is headquartered in Kötschach-Mauthen, near Austria’s border with Italy. The move aligns with ADS-TEC Energy’s broader international growth strategy as it continues to scale up its presence across Europe.

“The establishment of our Austrian entity is a strategically important step to be closer to our customers to make our technologies directly available locally,” said Thomas Speidel, CEO and founder of ADS-TEC Energy. “The fact that we are already experiencing such strong customer confidence in the first few weeks demonstrates the high demand locally for high-performance storage and charging solutions.”

Within weeks of its formation, the Austrian arm secured a framework agreement with a domestic utility company. The contract includes three 5 MWh battery energy storage systems and an ultra-fast EV charging system. The first storage unit is expected to be delivered between late 2025 and early 2026.

“With this new company, we are creating a presence near our customers in Austria – and sending a clear signal for long-term partnership and reliability,” said Roland Klauss, CEO of ADS-TEC Energy Austria. “We are bringing our highly scalable storage and fast-charging solutions directly to the market – optimized for the requirements of modern grid integration, balancing energy and load management.”

The company’s solutions are tailored for grid stability, decarbonised energy systems, and scalable EV charging deployment, with its new Austrian base offering faster response times and customer-focused service in the region.
