AB Dynamics has unveiled the 2025a update for its Track Applications Suite, bringing significant usability improvements and enhanced automation for key industry standards, including Euro NCAP’s Heavy Vehicle ADAS protocols and NHTSA’s FMVSS 127 standard.

The update introduces over 600 new pre-defined test scenarios to the Special Groups library, streamlining the testing process. It also expands protocol coverage, adding ADAS test scenarios for Euro NCAP’s new Heavy Vehicle protocols, such as the Heavy Goods Bicycle Nearside Turn Across Path (HBNTAP) test, and ensuring compliance with FMVSS 127, which requires testing at speeds up to 90 mph.

Safety has been enhanced with customizable abort procedures to protect test assets during high-speed tests, reducing the risk of unplanned contact.

The update also improves integration with existing test infrastructure by supporting OpenDrive file compatibility in the Scenario Generator. Additionally, a network-based system update feature allows for efficient bulk updates across fleets of AB Dynamics test equipment.

The update also includes the latest version of Ground Traffic Control (GTC) software, available in two versions: GTC Core for basic ADAS testing and GTC Pro for advanced applications like durability and mileage accumulation testing.

With these updates, the Track Applications Suite continues to streamline and automate the creation, setup, variation, and execution of ADAS tests, improving efficiency and enhancing the testing process.
