NIO has just announced their Supercar EP9 will be coming to the racing game “Forza Horizon 5”. This makes the NIO EP9 the first Chinese supercar to appear in the game.
Last year, NIO EP9 for the first time appeared in the game “Asphalt 9: Legends”.
Forza Horizon 5 is a racing game developed by Microsoft and awarded the IGN 2021 Best Game of the Year.

The NIO EP9 was introduced to the public in 2016, and on 12 October 2016, the sports car set a one-lap lap record for an electric vehicle with a time of 7 minutes and 05 seconds at the Nürburgring.
On February 23, 2017 it set a speed record of 257 km/h at the Circuit of America in Austin, Texas and made it the fastest electric vehicle in the world at the time.
It should be noted that the EP9 is not a mass-produced car and cannot be driven on regular roads, but only on race tracks.
