Mercedes-Benz Vans CEE Partners with E.ON to Boost Fleet Electrification in Eastern Europe

Mercedes-Benz Vans Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) has partnered with energy company E.ON to provide tailored charging solutions for commercial fleets in Romania, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, and Hungary. The collaboration aims to accelerate the shift to electric mobility for business customers across the region.

The partnership offers comprehensive support to companies purchasing electric vehicles from Mercedes-Benz Vans CEE, including expert advice, installation, and maintenance of charging infrastructure. “Our aim is to decarbonize the last-mile logistics sector, and Mercedes-Benz Vans CEE is the ideal partner to make this vision a reality,” said Davide Villa, CEO of E.ON Drive.

The initiative reflects a shared commitment to sustainable mobility, with both partners emphasizing the importance of a smooth transition for businesses adopting electric vehicles. “This project underscores our dedication to driving sustainable mobility and supporting businesses as they embrace electrification,” said Stephan Kunze, Head of Sales & Marketing Vans Eastern / Central Europe at Mercedes-Benz Vans CEE.

Looking ahead, the partnership plans to expand its offerings to include integrated energy solutions, such as smart charging systems, cooling technologies, and heat pumps. Mercedes-Benz Vans customers will also gain access to special electricity tariffs.
