German mobility service provider DKV Mobility has partnered with the UK-based Motor Fuel Group (MFG) to provide its customers access to 1,590 charging points in the MFG network. The collaboration aims to strengthen DKV’s position in the electric vehicle (EV) charging sector across Europe.

The agreement, signed by DKV Mobility and its subsidiary GreenFlux, enables DKV customers to utilize MFG’s fast-charging infrastructure via the DKV Card +Charge and the DKV Mobility app. Currently, MFG operates 1,590 charging points across 130 petrol stations, with charging power ranging from 150 to 400 kW, depending on the location. This network is set to grow significantly, with plans to exceed 3,500 charging points by 2030.

“We are delighted to integrate MFG’s charging stations into our network in the UK. MFG is driving the decarbonisation of road transport by offering drivers of electric vehicles a first-class public charging experience,” said Sven Mehringer, Managing Director of Energy & Vehicle Services at DKV Mobility. “This fits perfectly with our goal of driving an efficient and sustainable future of mobility.”

MFG, the UK’s largest independent petrol station operator, has made strides in expanding its EV infrastructure. “Our commitment to electric vehicles remains unwavering,” said Martin Symes, EV Director at MFG. “We are delighted to be working with DKV Mobility to offer their customers access to MFG’s ultra-fast charging network in the UK.”

With access to 827,000 charging points across Europe as of September 2024, DKV Mobility continues to expand its charging solutions for businesses and individual EV users. This partnership further cements DKV’s role in supporting the transition to sustainable mobility.
