Tesla (TSLA.O) has introduced a leasing option for its Cybertruck, offering fans a new way to drive the angular electric pickup, starting from $999 per month.
Available for the Dual Motor version, this three-year lease comes with a 10,000-mile-per-year allowance and requires a $7,500 down payment at signing, making the effective monthly cost around $1,180 before taxes. Alternatively, buyers can forgo the down payment, raising the monthly fee to $1,249 pre-tax.
The Cybertruck Dual Motor, featuring a 600-horsepower all-wheel-drive powertrain, accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 4.1 seconds. Meanwhile, Tesla is also offering lease options for the Cyberbeast, the high-performance version equipped with an 834-hp triple-motor drivetrain capable of reaching 60 mph in just 2.6 seconds.

Leasing the Cyberbeast requires the same $7,500 down but costs $1,204 monthly ($1,379 with deposit factored in), or $1,439 per month without an initial payment. Opting for a two-year lease and a 15,000-mile annual limit raises the monthly cost to nearly $1,800.
Tesla’s leasing launch follows strong Cybertruck sales since its market debut, with the company delivering 16,692 units in Q3, surpassing sales of Ford’s Mustang Mach-E and nearly doubling Ford’s F-150 Lightning sales for the same period.
The Dual Motor Cybertruck currently retails at $79,990, while the Cyberbeast is priced at $99,990. Tesla also plans to release a more affordable, rear-wheel-drive model next year, priced slightly above $60,000.
