EHang recently conducted passenger demonstration flights as part of its “Low-Altitude Tourism” initiative in Wencheng, showcasing the EH216-S flying vehicle over scenic spots like Tianding Lake and Baizhangji Fall. This initiative marks a significant step towards integrating autonomous aerial taxis into tourism services.

In Saudi Arabia, EHang achieved a milestone by conducting its maiden autonomous flight in Mecca, supported by local authorities and industry partners. The company also secured a substantial deal with Xishan Tourism to supply 50 EAVs, with plans for additional acquisitions to bolster aerial tourism and passenger transportation.

EHang’s commitment to innovation is further underscored by its recent achievement of the Production Certificate (PC) from the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) for the EH216-S, paving the way for mass production of these advanced aerial vehicles.

The company continues to expand its global footprint, including collaborations in Abu Dhabi and demonstration flights in Latin America, highlighting its leadership in the autonomous aerial mobility sector.

EHang’s vision for the future includes enhancing battery efficiency, with charging times expected to be under 10 minutes for 30% to 80% capacity, ensuring seamless operational capabilities for its growing fleet of eVTOL vehicles.
