Dacia has officially opened the order books for its highly anticipated Spring electric SUV in the UK. Customers can secure their Spring online or through an official retailer, with deliveries set to commence later this year.
Priced at £14,995 on-the-road, or available from just £169 per month on a 3.9% APR representative, four-year Personal Contract Purchase (PCP) deal with a customer deposit of £2,325, the Spring offers an enticing entry point into the world of electric vehicles.
With a compact 26.8 kWh battery, the Spring boasts a usable range of up to 140 miles on the WLTP mixed cycle or an impressive 186 miles on the WLTP urban cycle. Charging the battery from 20% to 100% can be achieved in just four hours using a 7kW wall box, ensuring minimal downtime for drivers.
Dacia is also offering customers the choice of two motor options for the Spring. The entry-level Expression version comes equipped with a standard motor, while for just an additional £10 per month, customers can upgrade to the more powerful motor.
A further £10 per month on top of this allows buyers to step up to the flagship Extreme 65 version. Notably, the basic version is only available with the small electric motor, while the top version is exclusively offered with the larger one. Both powertrains are available in the mid-range Expression version.
Furthermore, Mobilize Power Solutions, Dacia’s in-house charging solutions provider, is offering customers a home charger for an additional £20 per month, providing a convenient and cost-effective solution for charging at home.
