Gridserve has started 2023 with a bang by installing 32 high-power chargers at four new Electric Super Hubs in January. These new chargers have a capacity of up to 350kW and are located along some of the UK’s busiest roads, including the A303 road to Stonehenge and the M23, M4, and M40 highways.
With these installations, Gridserve now operates a total of 173 high-power chargers at 16 Electric Super Hubs and two Electric Forecourts, providing EV drivers with access to fast charging in 169 locations. The Gridserve Electric Highway delivers over 10 million EV miles to the UK’s electric vehicles each month.

“We are excited to continue building on the progress made in 2022 and to support the growing demand for electric vehicles and charging,” said Toddington Harper, CEO of Gridserve. “We are committed to rolling out High Power chargers at a fast pace and expanding our network throughout 2023.”
Gridserve’s successful funding round last August, which raised 200 million pounds, has helped accelerate their expansion plans. The company has been expanding its charging network even before the funding, with charging parks in Wales and the UK’s busiest motorway opening in the past year.
The construction of a charging park at Gatwick Airport, which began last September, is also underway and is set to be completed this year.
