Honda presents an electric version of the small kei car N-Van which will be sold in Japan in 2024. Previously, this vehicle had been sold since 2018 in a petrol engine version and this time it was introduced with a fully electric engine.
This electric Honda N-Van is said to be the same model as the petrol engine, the boxed model then has sliding doors on the right and left of the car, as well as seats that can recline equally from the front passenger seat to the rear seats.
According to Honda, this electric car can be used for both light commercial and personal use. In addition to the obvious use for long-distance deliveries in cities, electric N-Van owners can use it for everyday commuting and short camping trips by taking advantage of its versatile cabin.
Honda promises a car mileage of 200 km which is considered good enough to be used as a vehicle for daily shopping, commuting to work or school, and short trips in town.
Considering that the N-Van is similar to other Honda kei cars, namely the N-One and the N-Box, it is estimated that this car will be compact in size, namely 3,395 millimeters long, 1,475 mm wide and 1,950 mm high, while the wheelbase is 2,520 mm. Even though the dimensions of the car look small, it can fit 4 people in it.
