Wuling presents a new electric car, namely Wuling Bingo. Where, this latest product is a type of hatchback that is positioned above the Mini EV.
Launching Car News China, Wuling Bingo carries a retro model with classic rims with the Wuling logo in the middle. Then at the bottom there is a chrome plated strip just like on the side of the door.
The back looks quite attractive. The shape looks a bit like a sedan. The unique position of the third brake light is at the bottom of the rear window.
Even though there are no details about the interior yet, this Wuling electric car has a capacity of 4 passengers. Dimensionally, Wuling Bingo is 3,950 mm long, 1,708 mm wide and 1,580 mm high with a wheelbase of 2,560 mm. Its weight reaches 2075 kg.
The electric motor is placed at the front, and is expected to be offered in two battery options with 42 hp and 68 hp. On paper, Wuling Bingo is estimated to have a maximum speed of 100 kph. Wuling Bingo will use a lithium-iron-phosphate battery, but it is not yet known how far it will run.
The rear is interesting. The hatch is shaped a bit like a sedan, with a short flat deck and an integrated spoiler. We need a pic from 3/4 behind to find out what is exactly going on there. The lights are large and the third brake light is positioned at the bottom of the window.
The new Wuling Bingo will be launched on the Chinese car market in the first half of 2023. Prices will range from about 80,000 to 120,000 yuan ($11,240 – 16,850). The Bingo is made by SAIC-GM-Wuling (SGWM), a car making joint venture between SAIC, General Motors and Wuling Motors.
