Segway Ninebot released a new electric scooter in China, namely the compact seated e-scooter called UIFI. This 1.2 meter scooter might just be the smallest scooter on the market. Seeing its small and concise shape makes it easy for city people to do mobility.
Segway added a seat upholstery so that this scooter can be driven for a longer time than the average scooter. The Chinese company Segway made a practical electric scooter to comply with Chinese e-scooter regulatory standards so that these scooters are road-legal, especially in China.
The entire floorboard of this electric scooter accommodates quite a lot of batteries, so that this scooter can travel quite a distance. Segway claims that the scooter has a range of up to 45 km on a single charge.
The Segway UIFI scooter has a top speed of up to 32 km/h. Segway provides several technologies such as e-ABS and a one-button cruise control system. There are three power level options that allow the scooter to adjust performance according to the driver’s preferences.
Overall, the Segway Ninebot UIFI scooter is small and compact, weighing only 33 kilograms. It has a seat of 680 millimeters and is equipped with adequate facilities including smartphone connectivity. This allows the owner to lock and unlock the scooter via an app on the smartphone.
Segway also indulges its customers by providing additional security wristbands and NFC. The Segway Ninebot UIFI electric scooter costs around $418 USD.
