Lucid Motors has launched the new Lucid Air Pure electric car as the cheapest variant of the Lucid Air. The Lucid Air Pure completes the new Lucid Air electric car lineup and was launched alongside the midsize variant of the Air Touring.
Despite its status as the cheapest variant, the new Lucid Air Pure electric car costs $87,400. If purchased with all-wheel drive, the price will be 96,900 US dollars.
Of course, at this price, the cheapest Lucid Air already offers performance and features that are not inferior to the top variants.
At its launch, Lucid Air Pure comes with two all-wheel drive electric motors capable of catapulting 480 hp.
Lucid claims that the all-wheel drive Air Pure can accelerate from 0-96 km/h in 3.8 seconds.
Lucid also said that the Air Pure has a battery that gives the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) an estimated mileage of 659 kilometers.
Unfortunately, Lucid still hasn’t released information on the torque or power of the Air Pure, which is equipped with an electric motor driving the rear wheels.
Regarding features, Air Pure ‘loses’ several standard features such as the absence of a panoramic roof available on the top variant.
However, this does not mean that the Air Pure is no less sophisticated, considering that this cheapest variant still gets a 34-inch Glass Cockpit digital instrument.
This Glass Cockpit combines with Lucid User Experience and the Pilot Panel which already has Alexa Built-in.
Finally, the Air Pure is also equipped with the standard DreamDrive Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) feature.
