Although the NIO ET7 is officially announced for the Norwegian market next week, Nio’s Norwegian website has featured the complete ET7 configurator with local taxes, shipping and all additional fees.
On the configurator’s website, the base model with a 75 kWh battery and 445 km WLTP range starts at $62,740, while the long-range version with a 580 km 100 kWh battery starts at $68,800.
The configurator also has the option to rent the battery instead of paying for it upfront. With the battery lease option, lowers the initial price of the car but the customer will be charged a monthly rental.
The monthly 75 kWh battery rental stands at $129 and the 100 kWh battery rental is $184. What’s interesting is that prices in Norway are slightly lower than the base model in China starting at $64,400 before subsidies were implemented.
The configurator’s website also shows the estimated delivery time, NIO ET7 orders now take about four months to ship. NIO’s electric vehicle portfolio on their website is the ES8, ET7, ES7, and ET5.
NIO ES8 will only be available in Norway using the older NT platform. The company has confirmed that only cars based on the newer NT 2.0 EV platform will be available in Europe.
Next week Nio is holding an official brand launch event in Europe at the NIO Berlin 2022 event. The company will announce its European plans and full model lineup.
