Solectrac and Nolan Manufacturing announced a partnership to build an electric tractor production facility on the east coast. Solectrac is known as a maker of electric tractors.
The new production facility was built to meet the growing demand for electric tractors across the country.
The electric tractor production facility is located on 10,000 square feet of land in Denton, North Carolina. This production facility is projected to serve customers on the east coast and strengthen the company’s growth nationally.
Main production is the Solectrac e25 electric tractor, with additional models planned for future production.
Soletrac was acquired by Ideanommics in June 2021. In August 2021, Soletrac opened an order for the e70N electric tractor, designed for needs in vineyard and agricultural operations.
Since then, Solectrac has added to their electric vehicle portfolio with two electric utility vehicles, the e25, eUtility 40HP.
Nolan Manufacturing is known to specialize in landscaping equipment and trailers and has plans to expand its production and distribution operations to include farm tractor equipment.
“As the demand for Solectrac’s electric tractors continues to increase, I’m excited about our persistent progress on the East Coast towards a more sustainable future and regenerative agriculture,” said Mani Iyer, Solectrac CEO.
The new production facility is expected to increase production quickly and will be able to deliver tractors to dealer partners quickly and provide more efficient service to existing customers.
āThe demand for Solectrac tractors is growing on the East Coast, and we’re proud to do our part in providing the market with the economical and environmentally friendly Solectrac tractors,ā added Chris Biesecker, owner of Nolan Manufacturing.
