Electrify America is expanding its white-label charging offering for US retailers through a turnkey package called Powered by Electrify America.
The program is designed for retail businesses that want to operate branded electric vehicle charging stations at their locations while accessing Electrify America’s technical expertise and operational support.
Under the white-label model, participating retailers can customize elements of the charging experience, including branding, pricing and loyalty programs. Electrify America provides the underlying charging expertise and operational capabilities.
Retailers Can Customize Charging Experience
The Powered by Electrify America package is intended to give retailers greater control over how EV charging is presented and managed at their sites.
According to Electrify America, the model can help retailers increase customer dwell time, generate additional revenue and strengthen customer loyalty by turning charging locations into destinations for electric vehicle drivers.
The company’s existing Powered by initiative already supports more than 100 stations and nearly 600 chargers across its network. Participating retail chains include Wawa and Costco.
White-Label Sites Join Electrify America Network
For EV drivers, charging stations operated under the white-label program become additional charging destinations alongside Electrify America’s own branded network.
Electrify America currently operates more than 5,600 chargers across approximately 1,080 stations spanning the United States, providing the infrastructure platform behind the company’s broader charging operations.
The white-label program allows retailers to build their own charging presence while benefiting from the experience and operational capabilities of a major DC fast-charging network.
Electrify America Targets Retail Charging Expansion
Electrify America will showcase the Powered by Electrify America program at the National Association of Convenience Stores (NACS) Show in Las Vegas from October 6 to 9.
The company will use the event to engage with retailers interested in adding EV charging to their locations and provide guidance on deploying branded charging infrastructure.
The initiative reflects the growing role of retail locations in EV charging, particularly where businesses can combine vehicle charging with shopping, dining and other customer activities.
