Genesis has entered the Dutch market with a fully electric lineup, marking its latest step in expanding across Europe and reinforcing its focus on battery-electric vehicles in new markets.
The brand, part of Hyundai Motor, is launching three models in the Netherlands: the Genesis GV60, Electrified GV70 and Electrified G80. Unlike in some earlier European markets such as Germany, Genesis is not offering combustion engine vehicles in the Netherlands at this stage.
Pricing in the Dutch market starts at €49,900 for the GV60, €65,400 for the Electrified GV70 and €74,200 for the Electrified G80, with the company highlighting competitive positioning, standard equipment and customisation options.
Peter Kronschnabl said the launch reflects the brand’s broader regional ambitions. “The launch in the Netherlands represents another important milestone for the brand in Europe. We are confident that by working together with strong dealer partners such as Zeeuw & Zeeuw and Broekhuis, we will build a solid business and drive a continued success of Genesis in the Dutch market,” he said.
Genesis has been accelerating its European expansion in recent months, having entered France and Italy earlier this year, while Spain is expected to follow.
Kronschnabl said the expansion is part of a wider growth strategy. “2026 marks a pivotal year for Genesis as we continue to accelerate our growth across Europe. With the brand launching in four major markets, Italy, France, Spain, and the Netherlands, we are expanding our presence and bringing the Genesis experience to a wider audience.”
