Solaris Bus & Coach is presenting its latest zero-emission bus, the Solaris Urbino 10.5 Electric, at Mobility Move 2026 currently taking place in Berlin.
The three-day event, running from March 10 to 12, gathers public transport operators, manufacturers, and industry experts to discuss developments in sustainable mobility and public transport systems.
At stand 39, Solaris is showcasing the Urbino 10.5 electric, a compact midibus designed for routes where conventional 12-metre buses may be less suitable. With a length of 10.5 metres, the vehicle aims to combine manoeuvrability with relatively high passenger capacity.

The bus is built using Solaris’ modular drive concept, which integrates the propulsion components without a traditional engine tower. This design allows for more interior space and enables the vehicle to accommodate up to 85 passengers, including up to 33 seated.
With a turning radius of under 17 metres, the model is designed for operation in dense urban environments, historic city centres, and feeder routes where tighter manoeuvring is required.
The Urbino 10.5 electric is powered by a 240 kW electric motor and battery systems offering up to 400 kWh of capacity. According to Solaris, this configuration allows the bus to operate for a full day without intermediate charging depending on route conditions.

The vehicle supports both plug-in and pantograph charging systems and meets the latest General Safety Regulation 2 requirements. Additional driver assistance systems can also be installed.
To improve energy efficiency, the bus is equipped with a CO₂ heat pump. Solaris said the model produces zero local emissions and lower noise levels, contributing to improved air quality and passenger comfort in urban environments.
The Urbino 10.5 electric was recently recognized with the Sustainable Bus Award 2026, highlighting its design for environmentally focused public transport fleets.
