French sporting goods retailer Decathlon has launched a new electric all-terrain bicycle in Europe, expanding its Rockrider electric lineup with a model positioned at the more affordable end of the market.
The Rockrider E-EXPL 100 LTD has debuted in France and is designed for mixed use on paved roads and light trails. The model follows the recent introduction of the E-EXPL 140 29-inch semi-rigid electric mountain bike and reflects Decathlon’s continued push into accessible electric mobility.

The E-EXPL 100 LTD is powered by a 36-volt brushless rear-hub motor delivering up to 316 watts of peak output and 43 newton metres of torque. Assistance is available up to the European regulatory limit of 25 kilometres per hour, with riders able to select from three assistance modes or disable the motor entirely.
Energy is supplied by a 499 watt-hour lithium-ion battery, which Decathlon says provides up to 100 kilometres of range in Eco mode and around 50 kilometres in Boost mode. A full recharge takes about seven hours, with the battery rated to retain similar performance after 500 charging cycles.

The bike features a seven-speed Microshift drivetrain, a Zoom front suspension fork with 100 millimetres of travel, hydraulic disc brakes and 29-inch Kenda tyres. A handlebar-mounted LED control unit displays riding data and includes a USB-C port, allowing riders to charge mobile devices while on the move.
In France, the Rockrider E-EXPL 100 LTD is priced at €1,699.99 and is offered in three frame sizes. Decathlon has not yet confirmed availability in other European markets.
