Fastned has introduced a new pricing incentive for electric vehicle drivers, offering a 10% discount per kilowatt-hour on all charging sessions across its European network for customers who pay via the Fastned app using a debit or credit card.
The discount, which took effect immediately, applies at all of Fastned’s roughly 400 fast-charging stations spanning nine European countries. To qualify, registered users must set a debit or credit card as their default payment method in the app. The company said the offer is available to both existing and new customers and does not require a monthly subscription fee. Fastned did not specify an end date for the promotion.
Based on pricing shown in the Fastned app, the standard charging rate falls from about 73 euro cents per kilowatt-hour to 65 euro cents with the discount. Customers who already pay a monthly subscription fee of €11.99 will see their discounted rate drop to around 51 euro cents per kilowatt-hour. The company said the reduction applies equally whether a charging session is started manually via the app or automatically using its Autocharge feature, which enables plug-and-charge functionality after a one-time registration.
Fastned said the initiative is aimed at encouraging everyday use of its network while keeping pricing simple. “Customers who regularly charge at Fastned receive an additional reward for their loyalty—completely without subscription commitments,” the company said in a statement. Linda Boll, country director of Fastned Germany, added that the focus is on convenience and transparency: “As more EV drivers choose us across borders as their preferred fast-charging partner, we want to create an additional attractive offer through our app discount to support these everyday needs.”
