Honda Europe recently officially launched the new Civic e:HEV with Hybrid drive with Honda Sensing safety features.
In general, the Honda Civic e:HEV is a Hybrid variant of the European hatchback model. In appearance, this 11th generation sedan still looks sporty with the front grille integrated with full LED slanted lights with LED DRLs.
Side view, this sedan looks very simple and elegant with the use of multi-spoke rims like a 17-inch star and there are chrome accents that adorn the bottom of the door.
Entering the interior, the dashboard design is still the same as the other variants. The difference is only the transmission lever model is now a button only. Meanwhile, the installed 10.2-inch head unit already has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto features. To pamper the cabin, the head unit is connected to 12 speakers from Bose Audio. In addition to pampering, do not forget that the manufacturer prioritizes safety by pinning 11 airbag points.
Talking about performance, this car is equipped with a 2,000 cc four-cylinder Atkinson-cycle engine combined with an electric motor with Intelligent Multi-Mode Drive (iMMD) technology. When combined, the Civic e:HEV has a power output of up to 183 hp with 315 Nm of torque which is channeled to the front wheels.
To meet European safety standards, this Civic is equipped with Honda Sensing with driver assistance systems such as Autonomus emergency braking, Adaptive cruise control with stop and go, lane centering assist, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, low-speed AEB and semi-autonomous. autonomous driving level 2.
Talking about the price, unfortunately the manufacturer has not mentioned this. However, the price will be announced when it goes on sale in the fall of 2022.
