Stellantis CEO Antonio Filosa has announced a major reshuffle of the company’s leadership structure, expanding and reorganizing the Stellantis Leadership Team (SLT) to 15 members as part of efforts to strengthen regional focus and drive future growth.
The most significant appointment is Emanuele Cappellano, who will take over as Head of Enlarged Europe & European Brands. Cappellano, previously Head of South America and leader of Stellantis Pro One, succeeds Jean-Philippe Imparato in overseeing European operations while continuing his responsibilities for the company’s commercial vehicle division. Imparato will become the full-time CEO of Maserati and head Stellantis & You, reporting to Cappellano.

Other key leadership changes include Herlander Zola, who moves up to become Head of South America, succeeding Cappellano. Samir Cherfan joins the SLT while continuing to lead Middle East & Africa and Micromobility operations. Grégoire Olivier, previously Head of China Strategy, has been appointed Head of China and Asia-Pacific and now joins the SLT as well.
Stellantis also announced that Francesco Ciancia will rejoin the company on November 1 as Global Head of Manufacturing. Ciancia, currently with Mercedes-Benz as Head of Vans Operations, was instrumental in transforming its production network. He succeeds Arnaud Deboeuf, who is leaving Stellantis to pursue other opportunities. Additionally, Ralph Gilles, the company’s longtime Head of Design since its 2021 formation, will officially join the SLT, marking the first time design has been represented at the top executive level.
