Renault Trucks said on Thursday that Antoine Duclaux will take over as chief executive on November 1, 2025, succeeding Bruno Blin, who is stepping down after a decade in the role to become a senior adviser to Volvo Group.
Duclaux, currently senior vice president of Renault Trucks International, joined Volvo Group in 2020 as head of internal audit and risk management, after holding leadership positions at building materials company Holcim. Since July 2024, he has overseen Renault Trucks’ business development in the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Latin America, as well as its Emergency and Defense division.
“I feel deeply honored, humbled and energized to take on the role of CEO of Renault Trucks,” Duclaux said in a statement. “My past experiences, including the induction to the Volvo Group and the recent experience in our international markets, have provided me with strong insights to drive a long-term profitable growth for Renault Trucks, together with our great teams and in line with the Group values.”
Outgoing CEO Blin, who has led Renault Trucks since 2015, said the company had strengthened its market position and “firmly established ourselves as a frontrunner in electromobility.” He added: “These collective achievements give me greater confidence than ever in the company’s future. I am fully confident that Antoine Duclaux is the right leader to guide Renault Trucks into its next chapter, through the transformative journey ahead.”
