Geely Auto reported record monthly sales in September, boosted by surging demand for its Galaxy sub-brand and growing deliveries of electric models.
The automaker sold 273,125 vehicles last month, up 35.2% from a year earlier and 9.2% from August, according to a Hong Kong Stock Exchange filing on Wednesday. Sales of Geely Galaxy reached a record 120,868 units, marking a 131% year-on-year increase.

Including Galaxy, the Geely brand recorded 221,966 sales, up 43% from a year earlier. Lynk & Co sales rose 27.5% to 32,902 units, while Zeekr deliveries slipped 14.4% year-on-year to 18,257, though they edged up from the previous month.
Battery electric vehicle (BEV) sales hit a record 99,516 units in September, a 54.6% increase year-on-year, while plug-in hybrid (PHEV) sales surged 145.6% to 65,685 units. Geely exported 40,665 vehicles, up 3.8% year-on-year, with domestic sales in China climbing 42.8% to 232,460 units.

Geely Galaxy, initially launched as a product lineup in February 2023 and established as a standalone brand in March 2024, has been a key driver of growth. Geometry sales have been consolidated under the Galaxy brand since October 2024.
