Tesla said on Tuesday it will open its first Experience Centre in Abu Dhabi, a purpose-built facility on Yas Island that will combine a showroom, delivery hub and service centre, as the U.S. electric vehicle maker steps up its presence in the United Arab Emirates capital.
The development, covering more than 53,000 square feet, will be Tesla’s first fully integrated site in Abu Dhabi. The company said the new facility is designed to give customers a seamless brand experience — from browsing and purchasing vehicles to after-sales service — under one roof. It will also feature 20 V4 Supercharger stalls among 170 dedicated parking spaces, a step intended to support growing adoption of electric vehicles in the region.
“We are excited to expand our operations in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE, with our first purpose-built site,” said Pawel Trzpis, General Manager at Tesla Middle East. “We look forward to welcoming our current and future customers to experience this site upon its public opening. This milestone solidifies our focus and commitment to expanding in the region.”
The company said the Experience Centre is being developed in line with its sustainability goals. The building is expected to achieve Estidama 3 Pearl certification — a local green building standard — and will incorporate rooftop solar panels, high-efficiency HVAC systems, LED lighting, low-emission materials and rainwater harvesting for landscaping. Tesla said the facility is aligned with its broader Net Zero commitments.
The project is being delivered by Aldar Properties, one of the UAE’s largest real estate developers, with completion expected in 2027. The addition of the Abu Dhabi hub follows Tesla’s earlier expansion in Dubai, where it has established sales and service operations as demand for electric vehicles in the Gulf continues to grow.
