Royal Enfield has released official footage of its upcoming Flying Flea C6 electric motorcycle undergoing road tests in Leh, Ladakh, as the company builds anticipation ahead of a planned market debut in early 2026.
The video marks the first time the model has been shown in motion after months of leaks and spy shots. The bike was filmed handling steep climbs, descents and switchbacks, with riders testing both Eco and Sport modes, including with a passenger. According to the footage, the prototype maintained speed uphill and delivered smooth power on descents.
The C6 is inspired by Royal Enfield’s World War II-era “Flying Flea,” a lightweight motorcycle that could be dropped by parachute for use by soldiers. The modern version is designed as a compact commuter, positioned alongside models such as the Hunter 350.
Despite the reveal, key performance details remain undisclosed. The C6 sits on an aluminum-magnesium frame with a magnesium-encased battery, features 18-inch alloy wheels and a girder-style front fork, and includes modern technology such as Bluetooth connectivity, navigation, traction control, cornering ABS, and over-the-air software updates.

Pricing has not yet been confirmed, though estimates suggest around 200,000 rupees ($2,400), potentially making it one of the company’s most affordable electric offerings. The official launch window is set for between January and March 2026, with a scrambler-style S6 model expected to follow.
Royal Enfield has been gradually releasing information about the model. “It’s the first time we’ve actually seen the thing on the move, and while that’s exciting, it’s also just another carefully crafted tease,” the article noted.

While the release builds momentum for Royal Enfield’s electric push, industry observers say customers are still waiting for firm specifications, including range and performance figures, before the C6 can be fully assessed.
