Vauxhall has revealed the Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo, an 800-horsepower electric concept car designed to showcase the future of its GSE performance sub-brand, the company said on Wednesday.
The compact EV will make its public debut at the IAA Mobility 2025 show in Munich before becoming available to drive virtually in Sony’s Gran Turismo 7 video game later this year. Vauxhall said the project merges physical and digital experiences to highlight design and engineering innovation.
Equipped with dual electric motors producing a combined 800hp and 800Nm of torque, the concept accelerates from 0-62 mph in 2.0 seconds and reaches a top speed of 199 mph. The car weighs 1,170 kg thanks to advanced materials such as Bcomp®, a sustainable alternative to carbon fibre. Its 82 kWh battery supports performance without significantly compromising weight, while a boost function provides an additional 80hp in short bursts.
Aerodynamic features include an active diffuser, aero spoiler, and aero blade skirts. The spoiler also functions as an airbrake, with other details such as aerodynamic alloy wheels and integrated slim lighting elements aimed at reducing drag and turbulence.
The design, based on Stellantis’ STLA Small platform, maintains the footprint of the standard Corsa but adopts a lower, wider stance. It features sharp lines, a slim Vizor front with an illuminated Griffin emblem, and bold VAUXHALL lettering at the rear. The interior includes a suspended driver’s seat, roll cage, head-up display, and illuminated fabrics that respond to surrounding traffic.
Vauxhall described the concept as both a celebration of its motorsport heritage and a preview of the GSE brand’s performance direction. By pairing its launch at IAA Mobility 2025 with a digital debut in Gran Turismo 7, the company said it is targeting both car enthusiasts and gamers.
