Vauxhall has surpassed 100,000 battery-electric vehicle sales in the UK, reaching a cumulative total of 102,852 units by October 2026. The milestone marks the company’s progress in expanding its electric vehicle lineup and increasing adoption across the UK passenger car and commercial vehicle markets.
The 100,000th vehicle was a Grandland Electric 213PS Ultimate, equivalent to 210 hp, delivered by Drive Vauxhall Nuneaton. Vauxhall announced the milestone on November 4.
UK Electric Vehicle Sales Pass 100,000
Vauxhall’s cumulative electric vehicle sales have increased steadily over the past decade. According to company figures, the brand recorded 16,105 EV sales by 2021, rising to 51,018 in 2023 and 86,344 in 2025. The total reached 102,852 during the first 10 months of 2026.
The company’s electric vehicle history in the UK began with the Ampera range-extender model in 2011, followed by the Corsa-e in 2019.
The original Corsa-e featured a 50-kWh battery, a 136 hp electric motor and a WLTP driving range of up to 209 miles. The current Corsa Electric uses a 51-kWh battery and produces 156 hp, with a claimed WLTP range of up to 265 miles.
The Mokka Electric and Corsa Electric are Vauxhall’s best-selling battery-electric models, with more than 26,000 and 23,000 units sold respectively since their introductions in 2020.
Vauxhall Expands Its Electric Vehicle Lineup
Vauxhall completed its transition to offering an electric version of every passenger car model in its range by the end of 2024. Its lineup includes the Corsa Electric, Mokka Electric, Astra Electric, Astra Sports Tourer Electric, Frontera Electric, Grandland Electric, Combo Life Electric and Vivaro Life Electric.
The company has also offered an electric version of every van in its range since 2021. Vauxhall said it was the UK’s best-selling electric van manufacturer in each year from 2021 to 2023.
Its Combo Electric van is manufactured at Ellesmere Port, which the company describes as the UK’s first volume manufacturing facility dedicated exclusively to electric vehicles.
Vauxhall has also introduced pricing initiatives to make electrified models more accessible. The Frontera Electric and Frontera Hybrid were launched at the same list price, while the latest Astra range offers consistent pricing across its electrified powertrain options at corresponding trim levels.
With the UK Electric Car Grant applied, Vauxhall said the Astra Electric is priced below its hybrid and plug-in hybrid counterparts.
Campaign Targets On-Street Charging Access
Beyond vehicle sales, Vauxhall has been working to address charging accessibility through its Electric Streets of Britain campaign, launched in 2023.

The initiative invites drivers to register streets where they need access to on-street electric vehicle charging. More than 13,000 streets have been submitted through the campaign, with the resulting data shared with charging providers char.gy, Connected Kerb and Kerbo Charge to help guide future infrastructure deployment.
Eurig Druce, managing director of Vauxhall and Stellantis UK Group managing director, said:
“Whether it’s our Electric Streets of Britain campaign, our pioneering pricing strategy and an electric option across our entire range, or building electric vans here in the UK, we are helping more customers make the switch with confidence,”
Vauxhall’s latest sales milestone reflects the expansion of its electric vehicle portfolio, alongside efforts to improve pricing accessibility and support the development of public charging infrastructure across the UK.
