Vauxhall has confirmed that its entire range of electric cars is now eligible for the UK government’s Electric Car Grant (ECG), giving buyers a £1,500 reduction on list prices.
The offer covers the electric versions of the Corsa, Mokka, Frontera, Astra, Astra Sports Tourer, Grandland and Combo Life, and can be combined with existing manufacturer incentives.
In addition to the grant, Vauxhall is offering 0% PCP finance on most electric models, with a manufacturer deposit contribution of up to £1,500 on Corsa Electric and Mokka Electric, and £500 on Astra Electric and Astra Sports Tourer Electric.
The scheme requires a 20% deposit and spreads payments over 48 months. Customers can also access the ‘Electric All In’ package, which provides £500 towards a home EV charger or public charging credit, along with 10,000 miles of free home charging when switching to the Intelligent Octopus GO tariff.
Following the ECG’s introduction, the Frontera Electric family SUV now starts at £22,495 on the road, undercutting the equivalent petrol-hybrid version.
Special editions such as the Corsa Electric YES Edition, Mokka Electric Griffin, and Astra Electric Griffin also benefit from the discount, while the Grandland Electric’s starting price drops to £35,455.
Vauxhall produces electric models at its Ellesmere Port facility, the UK’s first EV-only volume manufacturing plant, and is running its Electric Streets campaign to expand public charging infrastructure.
