Siemens has introduced its new Depot360 Home Charging Reimbursement service in the United States, designed to support fleet operators in managing and reimbursing home electric vehicle (EV) charging costs. The program, part of Siemens’ broader Managed Services portfolio, leverages telematics and geofencing to accurately attribute charging sessions to company fleet vehicles.
According to Siemens, the service is compatible with all EVs and charging hardware, enabling fleet operators to compensate drivers for at-home charging without requiring investment in networked chargers or dedicated metering systems. The tool also integrates with payroll systems to streamline reimbursements and reduce administrative overhead.

“The new Depot360 Home Charging Reimbursement solution, part of our Managed Services portfolio, is a game-changer for fleet operators looking to accelerate their electrification journey, enabling remote and home charging for fleets while minimizing capital investment and risk,” said Alan White, Global Head of Emerging Transportation Platforms at Siemens Smart Infrastructure.
In addition to software, the offering includes round-the-clock access to Siemens experts, who provide onboarding assistance, analytics reporting, driver support, and troubleshooting services. Siemens said this approach enables fleet managers to focus on other operational priorities while ensuring seamless charging reimbursement.

The service is already being implemented within Siemens’ own operations. Siemens Mobility Services—part of the company’s U.S. supply chain management division—is the first to deploy the new system across its fleet of 11,000 vehicles. The group plans to complete the rollout by 2030. Insights from these charging sessions will also help train algorithms powering the Depot360 AI platform.
“This solution not only reduces upfront infrastructure costs and ongoing operational expenses, but streamlines home charging reimbursement programs, enabling operators to scale their electrification plans with greater efficiency, flexibility, and confidence,” said Adam Orth, U.S. Head of Fleet at Siemens Mobility Services.

Siemens originally launched the Depot360 brand in early 2024, positioning it as a full-service platform supporting fleet electrification beyond hardware installation—particularly targeting logistics providers, municipal operators, and private fleet owners.
