Wuling Hongguang Mini EV is increasingly in demand in the market. In fact, in the last few months its sales have continued to increase and this time it has penetrated 40 thousand units per month.

According to data from the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA), in November 2021 this tiny electric car sold 40,395 units. However, the sales figures decreased slightly when compared to the previous month.

From sales data in October 2021, Wuling Hongguang Mini EV has sold 47,834 units. This figure shows a significant increase when compared to September which has sold 35,169 units.

Sales figures in November 2021 also showed an increase of 22% from year over year data. Meanwhile, from the year to date sales figures from January to November 2021, it was recorded that it had touched 344,890 units, an increase of 346% from year over year data.

If calculated cumulatively, it is predicted that sales of electric compact cars will reach almost 500 thousand units. This achievement is believed to be achieved in December.

The electric car produced by the joint venture of SAIC-GM-Wuling (SGMW) has been the target of the Chinese community since it was first launched. Naturally, if the sales of this car continue to increase because the selling price is cheap.

In China, this tiny electric car starts at US$ 4,500. The affordable price makes the Hongguang Mini EV sell well in the market, even beating Tesla's sales.

In the current variant, the car measures 2,917 mm in length, 1,493 mm in width and 1,621 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 1,940 mm. With that size, the Hongguang Mini EV is fairly compact.

Meanwhile, in terms of performance, the Wuling Hong Guang Mini EV is equipped with a 27 hp electric motor. Power is supplied by a 13.8 kWh compact battery.

This tiny car can reach speeds of up to 100 km / h. Once charged, the electric car can travel 200 km. This figure is more than sufficient for residents who live in urban areas who usually only need a short distance.
