Korean automotive manufacturer Kia Corporation announced the price of a hybrid car aka Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) Kia Niro 2023. This model is the second generation of electric SUV crossover that is Kia's mainstay.

The price of the new Kia Niro PHEV 2023 in the US market starts at USD 33,740 for the EX model, while the price of the new car for the SX Touring variant is USD 39,490.

Quoted from the Kia page today, Monday, October 24, 2022, the Kia Niro PHEV 2023 crossover car is larger in dimensions than the previous generation to be more comfortable with a spacious cabin.

The new Kia Niro has 25 percent (33 miles/48.2 km) more range on a full charge than its predecessor on a single full charge.

The Kia Niro PHEV 2023 features several of the latest convenience technologies, such as dual panoramic views and movable digital buttons. The design is also bold, inspired by the philosophy of “Opposites United.”

Consumers are prepared to choose 18-inch alloy wheels and the option of a two-tone Aero C-Pillar color panel on the Kia Niro PHEV SX Touring variant. While the EX variant has additional heating in the cabin.

The Kia Niro PHEV 2023 crossover hybrid car comes standard with 16 advanced driver assistance features, including Forward Collision Avoidance Assist, Blind Spot Collision Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Collision Avoidance-Assist, Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection and Junction Turning, and Lane Following Assist.

The Kia Niro 2023 is equipped with a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine coupled to a powerful 62 kW electric motor. The hybrid car produces a combined 180 horsepower and 195 lb.-ft of torque. Power is sent to the front wheels via a 6-speed dual clutch transmission.

When connected to a Level 2 charger, the Kia Niro PHEV 2023 can recharge the 11.1 kWh lithium-ion polymer battery in under 3 hours.
