As the electric car industry develops, charging stations have become the main infrastructure that electric car owners need the most.
To make it easier for electric car owners to charge their car batteries, technology company EV Safe Charge has launched a charging robot called ZiGGY.
ZiGGY is a sophisticated robot that can be ordered through a smartphone application. This robot will later be placed in parking lots such as hotels, shopping centers, hospitals, and other places.
This robot is also believed to make it easier for building owners to prepare charging stations, because this robot does not take up much space and can be moved around.
Prior to launching ZiGGY, EV Safe Charge had found the ideal charging solution for its many clients based on their needs. The company also has many partners including ABB, Enel X, evconnect, and Bosch.
“ZiGGY is a flexible and simple solution for almost any office, mall or apartment complex to help meet the growing charging needs of its tenants and guests without a huge investment,” Caradoc Ehrenhalt, founder & CEO of EV Safe Charge Inc.
Once it hits the market, the ZiGGY robot can be summoned to your EV using the mobile app or the in-vehicle infotainment system. If you have made a call, the robot will move to the place where your EV is parked and immediately carry out the charging process.
After successfully charging, ZiGGY will return to his home to recharge from solar energy or other power sources.
Unfortunately, there is no information about how much it will cost to charge using this robot. The company only said that the ZiGGY robot is scheduled to start operating in 2023.
