Zero Motorcycles, the global leader in electric motorcycles and powertrains, has once again demonstrated its commitment to innovation by unveiling the SR-X, a unique version of its popular SR/S model.
Developed in collaboration with HUGE Design, the SR-X represents the latest example of the company’s “Design the Future” program, which brings together talented designers and engineers to push the boundaries of what is possible with electric motorcycles.

The SR-X is a semi-faired design that combines clean lines and disciplined design-detailing with the aggressive stance and raw performance found in modern liter bikes. The bike’s low ‘front-heavy’ silhouette is juxtaposed with fully-exposed mechanicals towards the back of the bike in an unconventional way. The intention of the HUGE team was to design the SR-X with the raw bike underneath as part of the final composition, making it a true masterpiece of electric motorcycle design.
The SR-X is powered by Zero’s advanced ZF75-10 electric motor and the latest ZF17.3 lithium-ion battery, which represents a bold vision for the future of motorcycling. Brian Wismann, VP of Product Development at Zero, expressed his excitement about the new release, stating, “The result exceeds expectations and points the way forward for our internal design teams.”
HUGE Design, led by Bill Webb, has played a key role in Zero’s vision for the future, and the SR-X is the latest example of his visionary concepts and Zero’s commitment to innovation. Webb explained, “We wanted true sport riders to appreciate the subtle and balanced design approach—modern, futuristic and clean without sacrificing the raw-performance look and overtly mechanical appeal of high-performance motorcycles.”
