Zeekr has introduced an updated version of its Zeekr X for the European market, adding faster charging capabilities and upgraded performance for the 2026 model year.
The revised compact electric SUV arrives only months after the model’s launch in Germany, where Zeekr entered the market in late 2025.
The automaker, owned by Geely, said the latest version of the Zeekr X integrates the company’s proprietary Golden Battery technology into the vehicle’s 400-volt platform.
The updated long-range rear-wheel-drive variant uses a new 61 kilowatt-hour lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery pack capable of DC fast charging at up to 230 kilowatts.
According to Zeekr, the battery can charge from 10% to 80% capacity in approximately 18 minutes.
“Through the use of Golden Battery technology—featuring an improved chemical composition and optimised battery management system—we achieve a combination of high energy density, maximum fast-charging capability, and long service life on a 400-volt architecture,” the company said.
Zeekr first introduced the Golden Battery platform in late 2023 and previously deployed it in the Zeekr 001.
The updated Zeekr X also receives increased power output across its model lineup.
The all-wheel-drive Privilege AWD version now produces up to 365 kilowatts of system power, enabling acceleration from 0 to 100 kilometres per hour in 3.7 seconds.
The Long Range variant delivers 250 kilowatts of output and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.5 seconds.
The company said both variants gained an additional 50 kilowatts compared with previous versions.
Zeekr also introduced interior updates across all trim levels, including a redesigned center console, expanded storage space, and a larger luggage compartment. Cargo capacity has increased by 47 litres to a total of 404 litres.
“The interior retains the clear, modern, and Scandinavian design philosophy that has distinguished the Zeekr X since its market launch,” the company said.
