Zeekr has introduced its latest offering, the Zeekr 009 Grand. This premium MPV (multi-purpose vehicle) aims to redefine executive transportation with its blend of luxury, performance, and innovative features.
The Zeekr 009 Grand, unveiled at an event in Wuzhen, Zhejiang province, boasts a price tag starting at RMB 789,000 ($108,970), targeting business owners and CEOs seeking a superior travel experience.
“The Zeekr 009 Grand will make today’s CEOs anxiety-free and more productive,” remarked Zeekr CEO Andy An during the model’s launch event.
The vehicle, an enhanced four-seat variant of the original Zeekr 009, shares the same sleek design but includes a roof-mounted LiDAR system. Measuring 5,217 mm in length, 2,024 mm in width, and 1,812 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,205 mm, the Grand promises a spacious and comfortable interior.
Inside, the Zeekr 009 Grand features a redesigned cabin with enhanced privacy features and premium materials. It introduces state-of-the-art light curtain glass that adjusts its transparency in 10 levels, providing privacy for rear-seat passengers. The model also offers a “Privacy Mode” allowing owners to erase sensitive information.
Rear-seat comfort is emphasized, with the seats upholstered in ultra-soft aniline leather and offering 12 zones of support with 24-way adjustment, a unique feature in the automotive industry. Hand-polished marble accents further enhance the luxurious ambiance of the cockpit.
Under the hood, the Zeekr 009 Grand is powered by dual electric motors delivering 580 kW of peak power and 810 Nm of peak torque, enabling a 0 to 100 km/h sprint in just 3.9 seconds. It features an advanced 108-kWh Li-ion ternary battery pack from CATL, offering a range of 702 km and supporting 5C fast charging.
The model also boasts a sophisticated infotainment system powered by two Qualcomm 8295 chips, catering to both front and rear cabin passengers.
Despite initial plans to launch the Zeekr 009 Grand ahead of the regular Zeekr 009, the model was introduced later due to additional preparatory work, according to Zeekr’s management.
Customers who order the Zeekr 009 Grand on or before May 31 can benefit from a RMB 50,000 discount if they were the first owner of another Zeekr model.
