Zeekr has launched an additional allocation of its limited-edition 001 Fifth Anniversary Edition in China, offering a series of purchase incentives aimed at attracting buyers in the premium electric vehicle segment.
The special edition model retains its official suggested retail price of 365,000 yuan (US$53,920), with customers who place deposits by May 31 eligible for several temporary purchase benefits.
Purchase Incentives Introduced
According to the company, buyers can receive an 8,000 yuan purchase tax subsidy, a 5,000 yuan trade-in subsidy, a 5,000 yuan insurance subsidy and a 5,000 yuan optional equipment allowance.
Additional benefits include an exclusive commemorative gift box, track driving training sessions and lifetime access to the vehicle’s advanced driver assistance system.
Zeekr first introduced the 001 Fifth Anniversary Edition on April 10 as a limited-production model. Four days later, the company announced that the initial allocation had sold out, although production volumes were not disclosed.
Performance-Focused Configuration
The 001 Fifth Anniversary Edition is positioned as a high-performance variant designed with track-oriented driving characteristics.
Built on a 900-volt electric vehicle architecture, the model features a dual silicon carbide all-wheel-drive powertrain producing up to 680 kW (912 hp).
According to Zeekr, the vehicle accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.91 seconds and has a top speed of 280 km/h.
Battery and Charging Technology
The vehicle is equipped with CATL’s 103-kWh Qilin battery pack.
Zeekr said the battery supports 6C ultra-fast charging capability, allowing the state of charge to increase from 10% to 80% in approximately 10 minutes under suitable charging conditions.
Chassis and Aerodynamics
The model features a performance-oriented chassis setup including KW coilover suspension and Brembo six-piston brake calipers.
Carbon-fiber aerodynamic components are used throughout the vehicle to reduce weight and enhance aerodynamic efficiency.
Interior and Technology Features
Inside, the vehicle is equipped with an AI-powered cockpit system based on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8295 processor.
The cabin includes a 39.3-inch augmented reality head-up display and a large central infotainment screen.
Zeekr said the software platform incorporates performance-focused functions derived from the Zeekr 001 FR, including dedicated racing modes, intelligent drift assistance and an AI-based driving coach.
Brand Performance
The announcement comes as Zeekr continues to expand its presence in China’s premium electric vehicle market.
The company reported deliveries of 31,787 vehicles in April, representing a 132% increase compared with the same month a year earlier.
Despite increasing competition in China’s electric vehicle sector, Zeekr said its average transaction price remains close to 350,000 yuan, reflecting its focus on higher-end segments of the market.
The additional allocation of the 001 Fifth Anniversary Edition forms part of the company’s efforts to strengthen its position in the premium performance EV category while leveraging interest in limited-edition models.
