The Zeekr Mix, the latest offering from Geely’s premium electric vehicle brand Zeekr, has entered the Chinese market, priced from 279,900 yuan (approximately $39,250). This high-end electric MPV blends innovative concept-car aesthetics with advanced safety features, extensive cabin space, and practical design touches that position it as an attractive choice for families. As the sixth model in Zeekr’s growing lineup, the Mix sets itself apart with a stylish exterior and features aimed at meeting the needs of the modern driver.
One of the Mix’s standout aspects is its design, built on Geely’s SEA-M modular architecture, which prioritizes space and versatility. With an industry-leading in-cabin utilization rate of 93% (compared to the typical SUV rate of below 70%), the Mix offers a spacious and thoughtfully planned interior.
Its dual sliding doors on the passenger side are especially convenient, creating a 1,480 mm entrance for easy access. Inside, the Mix comfortably seats five, with front seats that swivel up to 270 degrees, providing flexibility in passenger arrangements. For enhanced comfort, the vehicle has a cabin height of 1,350 mm and a floor height of 390 mm, creating a roomy feel.
Adding to its versatility, the Mix includes a movable center console equipped with a table and a built-in refrigerator, and it allows for nine seating configurations. Users can even fold down all seats, transforming the cabin into a rest area—a unique feature for families on long trips.
Under the hood, the Zeekr Mix is powered by an electric motor mounted on the rear axle, delivering an impressive 310 kW (415 hp) that enables the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.8 seconds. Buyers have two battery options to choose from: a 76 kWh LFP battery pack offering a range of 550 km and a 102 kWh NMC battery option that extends the range to an impressive 700 km.
The Mix supports advanced 5.5C charging technology, meaning that the 76 kWh battery can charge from 10% to 80% in only 10.5 minutes—an advantage for busy users who require quick charging stops. This charging efficiency is made possible through Zeekr’s 800V high-voltage system, which is among the most advanced in today’s EV market.
The Zeekr Mix also stands out with a suite of safety and autonomous driving features. Its dual sliding door design, while unconventional, does not compromise on safety, as Zeekr has reinforced the structure with hidden B-pillars that improve torsional rigidity and protect occupants in the event of a collision.
The vehicle’s strength was demonstrated in rigorous crash tests, including side impact tests at 60 km/h and a simulated roof impact with a 2.2-ton container. These tests underscored the durability of the Mix’s design, with no visible deformation in the structure, and even the driver’s door remained operable post-impact.
The Mix’s body construction utilizes high-strength materials, such as 2000 MPa tensile-strength hidden B-pillars and a single die-cast rear body that contributes to a torsional rigidity rating of 37,600 Nm/degree, far exceeding that of most SUVs, including the BMW X5.
In terms of technology, the Zeekr Mix is equipped with Zeekr’s Haohan 2.0 autonomous driving system, which includes a roof-mounted LiDAR sensor to enhance safety and navigation precision. The Haohan 2.0 system allows the Mix to operate autonomously on highways and urban roads, while Zeekr’s NZP system enables self-driving without high-precision maps, meaning the Mix can navigate a broader range of road types and conditions independently.
This is further supported by an advanced autonomous parking system, which helps drivers find and enter parking spots efficiently. Inside the cabin, Zeekr has equipped the Mix with an array of technological features, including a large floating center display, a smaller instrument cluster, an augmented reality head-up display (AR-HUD), and a voice-activated AI system that allows passengers to interact with the car’s functions from anywhere in the cabin.
For customization, the Zeekr Mix offers a selection of five exterior colors, two interior color options, and three wheel designs. Its 21-inch wheels, with half-painted Continental tires, give the vehicle a striking look that enhances its futuristic aesthetic. Despite its sleek design and high-end technology, Zeekr has maintained a strong focus on practicality and cost-efficiency, making the Mix a standout option in the competitive electric MPV segment.
Starting at 279,900 yuan (around $39,250) for the 76 kWh battery model, the long-range 102 kWh version, which boasts a range of 702 km, is priced at 299,900 yuan (approximately $42,100). Additionally, customers who purchase the Mix before November 30 can enjoy up to 43,000 yuan (around $6,000) in purchasing incentives.
