Zeekr has announced that the first production units of its new model, the Zeekr Mix, have rolled off the production line, just days ahead of its official launch on October 23.
The company shared images of the production line via Weibo and confirmed that the model will be unveiled at a launch event starting at 7 p.m. Beijing time.
The Zeekr Mix, a five-seater MPV, has been on display in Zeekr showrooms since October 18. It is the first model based on Zeekr’s SEA-M architecture, a derivative of Geely’s Sustainable Experience Architecture (SEA), which was debuted earlier this year at the Beijing auto show.
Zeekr invested over RMB 7 billion yuan ($980 million) into the SEA-M architecture, prioritizing space, safety, and vehicle handling.
A key innovation of the Zeekr Mix is its front seats, which are the world’s first to feature a 270-degree rotation capability. This unique feature, showcased earlier this month with a marketing stunt involving a hot pot dinner, has drawn significant attention to the vehicle.
